Second Time to go to Yesterday's. First time ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer (what I was really looking forward to). Meal came and no tomatoes, so I cancelled. Food was decent, pie was delicious, so while traveling to SC, decided to stop there for lunch. We were told there would be a twenty minute wait, and although we wanted to get on the road,we decided to wait. 45 minutes later, and after two groups that came in after us were seated, we asked when we were going to be seated. We were sitting almost right in front of the desk with no one around us, and she said she didn't see us. By the time waitress came, we had been there an hour. We ordered drinks and food at the same time trying to speed things up. 30 minutes later, we were asking when our food was coming. We were in there for 2 hours. Food was decent, but definitely not worth the time or aggravation.
I absolutely love this place. I am from North Carolina and found this place on line while traveling to Alabama a couple of years ago. It is such a nice restaurant in a quaint town. The food was awesome, the server was very friendly, I love the atmosphere too. I am planning another trip south and I just have to work it in my plans to stop there again. I am so excited to visit and eat there soon!
Reasonably priced, friendly staff and good food
I saw the sign from the highway. Well worth the stop. Buttermilk pie was delicious. Not overly sweet. Coffee was good.
