Jimmy Britt received our info through the KBB website when my wife was assessing the value of her trade. Elker called, text, and emailed my wife several times and even sent her a YouTube video of the type vehicle we were interested in. Their communication lessened when we tried to get a solid sales price. Their vehicle had 20,000 more miles on it and was more expensive than the other similar vehicles we were looking at through other dealerships. Their vehicle’s only advantage was a sunroof and DVD player. We told them we’d consider purchasing from them if they gave us a lower, reasonable price, due to the higher mileage and less remaining warranty. Per their request, we submitted our offer online, but when they called us back the next day the salesman said he had our trade information, but not our offer (my wife received confirmation that they received our offer). I once again verbally told him our offer. The salesman would not give me a price at all, except what was online. He wanted us to drive an hour to the dealership before giving me a price. We continuously explained we were not interested in paying MORE money for a higher mileage vehicle solely for a sunroof and DVD player. We sent a link to another dealership to show another vehicle we were looking at to show we were already (without negotiating) getting a lower price on a similar vehicle with lower mileage & more remaining warranty. It only lacked the two amenities. The salesman told me he would take our offer to his manager and call me back. Within minutes I got a text with the car fax retail price rating and another request to come in to the dealership. I text back later that we were already made a good offer by another dealership without having to come to their dealership. He sent another text essentially saying we needed to come in so he could show us why his higher mileage vehicle with less warranty was worth the higher price. I ignored him. Later, another employee called to see why we hadn’t purchased the vehicle and my wife replied we never got a price. She once again gave him our offer and we heard nothing back. The original salesman called moments ago telling my wife he got another totally different brand of vehicle in that he could do a better deal on. When she asked for details, it actually had HIGHER miles and was in the same price range as the original vehicle we had discussed. He asked her about our interest in the original vehicle and asked her if we’d come in to the dealership if he could promise $100 off. She said no, we would need much more off than that. The salesman proceeded to lie to my wife saying in my text message to him I stated the other dealership only offered a couple hundred off their deal. When she refuted his claim he doubled down and proceeded to attempt to read her a text message for which I pulled up for her so she could see the truth. She told him we were not interested in doing business with them and hung up. A sales manager “A.D.” just called to find out what the situation was. While he was polite, we won’t be doing business here and I would urge you to read the other Google and Yelp reviews and proceed with caution.
Because of my long-time friendship with Jeff Broadwater, I went to Jimmy Britt to look at a couple of nice used trucks he had recommended to me. Long story short ... I bought a new 2017 GMC Sierra. This was an awesome experience. Friendly. Relaxed. No pressure. Quick and easy. I am a Ford man .... but this experience and this GMC truck swayed me.

I drove three hours to get there, because they had the vehicle I really wanted. I'd spoken to Scott M. on the phone and found him to be upfront, honest and concerned about what my needs were. All the staff went above and beyond to introduce themselves to me and wanted to make certain I was being taken care of properly. I didn't receive the "upsale" to a car you can't afford here, and quite frankly there was no pushy sales techniques. I would recommend them to anyone.
I've bought out of state from another dealership in the past that I thought went pretty well, but buying from Jimmy Britt was an even better experience. The price couldn't be beat, and they took care of out of state title work and taxes. The entire experience was quick and painless.
